Arnaldo Tamayo, Cuba and Latin America's first cosmonaut, participated in space forum

The first cosmonaut from Cuba and Latin America, Arnaldo Tamayo, participated in a forum organized by the pro tempore presidency of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) on the peaceful use of space.

The Latin American and Caribbean virtual space meeting was organized by the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation, with the pro tempore presidency of the Community.

For the organizers, the meeting was a propitious framework for strengthening regional integration and the defense of the peaceful use of outer space.
