Blonde, the name of the film directed by Andrew Dominik (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford), will arrive through the Netflix platform.

A few months ago, rumors pointed to Cannes wanting to premiere the Marilyn Monroe film. Nevertheless, everything seems to indicate that Netflix refused.
And, although fans thought they would see Ana de Armas embodying Norma Jeane this year, it seems they will have to wait.
According to an exclusive from Variety magazine, Netflix decided to postpone the debut of this highly anticipated production until 2022. The specific date has not yet been confirmed.
Blonde is a project that has been in production for more than ten years. Originally actress Naomi Watts would have played the protagonist of Some Like It Hot, but ultimately Ana de Armas got the role.
The cast of the film is also made up of Garret Dillahunt, Scoot McNairy, Lucy DeVito, Michael Masini, Rebecca Wisocky, Ned Bellamy, and Dan Butler.
All of them will join Cuban Ana de Arma in a film that plans to bring us back the American actress, model, and singer who was considered a pop icon in the past century.
When Ana de Armas confirmed her leading role in this film, she shared a photograph already characterized as the character. Beyond the striking physical resemblance, fans appreciated the message that accompanied the post.
"Thinking of you today, Norma Jeane. You have never been more present and closer to my heart. Thank you," said the 32-year-old Cuban actress.
