Antonio Castro Soto del Valle appointed ambassador by the International Judo Organization

Dr. Antonio Castro Soto del Valle has been nominated as ambassador of the International Judo Federation, IJF, along with other international personalities including Vladimir Putin, Prince Albert II of Monaco, Ilham Aliev, Al Bano, Andrea Bocelli and other international personalities.

This appointment is granted to Antonio Castro for the successful organization in Cuba of two judo Grand Prix events and also for his involvement with an educational judo project in Cuban schools for children between 7 and 12 years old.

Antonio Castro is an orthopedic surgeon by profession, has been an ambassador of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), vice president of the International Baseball Federation of Cuba, and official physician of the Cuban Baseball national team.
