Without a doubt, this year 2020 has been very strange for everyone. During lockdown, streaming platforms have proven to be excellent companions to help pass these months of confinement.

With so much time at home, we have realized that there is a lot of content on the internet to be consumed and it is inevitable that people have to start watching titles they missed at other times.

In fact, one of those movies that has been gaining momentum lately in the most-watched lists is "Knock Knock", the film directed by Eli Roth and starring Keanu Reeves and Ana de Armas.

The film was released in 2015, and is an erotic thriller based on Death Game (1977 film that in Spain was called Las sádicas). It tells the story of an architect named Evan (Reeves), happily married, who gives up spending a weekend vacation with his wife and children and stays home to work on an important project.

One night he allows two young women to stay at his house when they claim they have gotten lost on the way to a party. The mysterious girls don't take long to feel at home; playing their old records, serving themselves drinks, and coercing him into a threesome with them.

Things go from bad to worse when Evan realizes that the women have destroyed a precious sculpture belonging to his wife, and claim that they are minors.

What follows is a surprisingly bloody game of cat and mouse, as the women terrorize Evan, threaten his family, and pose a danger to anyone else who dares to pass by.

An unconventional choice for 2020, but nonetheless a choice that is trending on Netflix right now.
