The Lionsgate company released the first trailer for Knives Out, the new film by Rian Johnson following his time with Star Wars, and which promises a story of mystery and murders, where Cuban actress Ana de Armas is part of the cast.
Among the major attractions of the film, which is scheduled to premiere on November 27, 2019, is the luxury cast it features, made up of: Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Amie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Ana de Armas, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, LaKeith Stanfield, and Katherine Langford.
As for the synopsis, it points to a group of investigators who are searching for those responsible for a murder in an eccentric family.
"The idea was to take everything I love about a great Agatha Christie story and put it in a new original story set in modern America," said the film's director at the time of the announcement.
Beyond the film's inspiration, Rian Johnson has also had words to explain how it has been working with such an important cast of actors:
"I've always been very fortunate and have had great experiences with all my actors. I didn't know what to expect. The truth is that everyone clicked and had a lot of fun and there was an incredibly wonderful experience filming, especially in the group scenes when they were all together. Everyone was playing off each other and everyone was having so much fun that it was contagious."
