After studying acting in Cuba and early ventures into cinematography, the 36-year-old actress built her career in Spain.

Her breakthrough to stardom occurred in the United States, where she has added important titles to her career, whose pinnacle, so far, has been in Blonde, where her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe made her an Oscar candidate in 2023.

Additionally, she has work in productions such as Knives Out and Blade Runner 2049. Among her upcoming releases is Ballerina, a spin-off of the John Wick franchise.
