While dancing to the rhythm of Alain Pérez and his Orchestra, Cuban actress Ana de Armas was seen in the early morning hours of this Sunday at a bar in Havana, surrounded by friends and colleagues.

After 2:00 am, the 35-year-old young star danced leaning out from the second level of the Johnny Club bar, where she was accompanied by her friend, actress Claudia Alvariño, playwright Jazz Vilá and actor Denis Ramos, according to what OnCuba was able to verify.

It appears that on this trip she has preferred to stay away from cameras, as there are no references to her stay on the island on any of her social media, unlike the last time there was news of a visit to Cuba, in April 2023, when she traveled to celebrate her birthday with her boyfriend, businessman Paul Boukadakis.

Just a week ago, the actress was one of the main protagonists of the Australian Open final—the year's first Grand Slam—by participating in the presentation of the tournament's trophy, prior to the match held in the city of Melbourne.

The Oscar-nominated actress for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in the film Blonde, was accompanied for the occasion by former tennis player Jim Courier, according to a report from Spanish newspaper El País.

De Armas was in Australia to finish filming the movie Eden, which should premiere in the coming months. In this film she shares the screen with Jude Law, Vanessa Kirby, Sydney Sweeney and Daniel Brühl. Its director is Ron Howard, who was producer of successful films such as A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13 and The Da Vinci Code.

Followers of the renowned actress are also waiting for the release this year of Ballerina, a spin-off of the John Wick films starring the renowned Keanu Reeves, in which Armas plays an assassin ballerina.

The actress was born on April 30, 1988 in Havana and grew up in the town of Santa Cruz del Norte, about 50 kilometers from this city.

At 16 years old she had a lead role alongside Spanish actor Álex González in the romantic drama by Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, A Rose of France (2005), filmed between Cuba and Spain.

PL recalls that she also acted in the films The Lost Eden, directed by Spaniard Manuel Estudillo, and Madrigal, by Fernando Pérez, both in 2007.
