Ana de Armas visits Cuba to spend the end-of-year holidays with family

The renowned Cuban actress Ana de Armas returned to her native land to see out the year that is ending with her family and childhood friends.

The artist shared with her nearly 2 million Instagram followers a snapshot in which she can be seen driving through the streets of Havana in a "almendrón" alongside her friend, Spanish actress Aleida Torrent.

"With my Aleida," Ana wrote in the caption of the post, which in just a few hours had already accumulated around 200 thousand likes and a flood of comments in which friends were congratulating them on the new year and wishing them a pleasant stay on the beautiful Caribbean Island.

Just a few weeks ago, the actress visited the Havana capital to celebrate Thanksgiving, and immortalized the moment on her social networks, in which she thanks the beautiful messages she has received for her recent nomination to the 2020 Golden Globes and for her appearance in world-class films such as 'Knives Out' and 'No Time To Die', "All of that, I give back to you!", she wrote.

The ceremony for the Golden Globe Awards is scheduled for January 5th, and will take place this time at the Beverly Hills hotel, where it will once again be hosted by comedian Ricky Gervais and Ana de Armas will be among the nominees in the Best Actress in Comedy or Musical category.
