Cuban actress Ana de Arma and American Sydney Sweeney, from "Euphoria", make up a luxury team in the film "Eden", directed by Oscar-winning director Ron Howard, famous for the "The Da Vinci Code" saga.
Experts predict that with those performances, the new film will have the luck, at minimum, of becoming a triumph for the director of "A Beautiful Mind", which earned him the golden statue in 2001 in four categories (Best Director, Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress).
According to the site quever.news, the also creator of "Thirteen Lives" (2022) will begin filming at the end of November his next feature film, a survival thriller that last May was revealed under the title "Origin Of Species".
The page added that de Armas joined the cast that in recent months confirmed, in this case, the Oscar-nominated Vanessa Kirby, "Pieces of a Woman" and the aforementioned star of "Euphoria" and "White Lotus", Sweeney, almost to complete the selection count.
The new installment is based on an unsolved mystery, set on a remote island in the Galápagos, and shows how far humans can go in the pursuit of happiness.
Howard has been working on the story for 15 years, since he first visited the Galápagos where the real-life events took place.
According to the producers, the film explores the human condition in unexpected, absurd, funny, sexy ways, but above all, exciting and full of suspense.
The source added that as for production, it will take place in Queensland, Australia, with a small unit in the Galápagos.
