Cuban singer Alfredito Rodríguez will turn 70 years old at the end of this November and will celebrate it by singing his greatest hits.

The artist, who will reach this respectable age on November 29th, will present a concert at the nightclub Polynesio on Saturday, November 27th at 10 pm. "Not every day do you wake up with 70 springs," the singer expressed. "Fortunately, I will also be celebrating 54 years of career, which I complete in December. I can't ask for more. I have the tremendous fortune of loving my audience and feeling loved by them."

The concert program, which will last approximately three hours, includes Sagitario, Buena persona, Me salen canas, La mujer de mi vida, Tiritando, ¡Ay!, que me encapricho and El mundo, among the twenty-five songs that will surely stir up the nostalgia of those who have been following the performer since the days of Buenas tardes, that Cuban television program that was a hit in the late 1960s.

The musical accompaniment will be provided by a band of five musicians who have been following him in recent years. The program is completed with the performance of a mariachi, something that is not new in the performer's presentations.

When reviewing the great moments of his career, Alfredito recalled that when he lived in Cuba for eight consecutive years he received the Girasol award from the defunct magazine Opina, which established him as the most popular singer. He also highlighted the programs Esta noche con Alfredo, Sábado especial, La diferencia and En familia con Alfredo, in which he proved himself as director, writer and host.

The singer left the island 15 years ago heading to Mexico, where he continued his work. In 2016 he settled in Miami, where he hosted El show de Alfredo Rodríguez and En familia con Alfredo, for Radio y TV Martí, Radio Cadena Azul, Cubana de Televisión, indiscriminately.

Apart from the love of the public, the artist is proud that on November 10th, 2019, Alfredo Rodríguez Day was instituted in the City of Miami by Mayor Francis Suárez.
