Alfredito Rodríguez celebrates 56 years of his artistic career: 'Different stages, but I still dream'

Cuban musician Alfredito Rodríguez celebrates this December 56 years of artistic career.

The popular singer wrote an emotional message on his social networks in which he clarified that he speaks it as he feels it.

"This December, I celebrate 56 years of working in the arts, and fortunately for me, they have been decades supported by the shoulders of those who have wanted to sustain me," he commented.

"Different stages, but I still dream of the footlights; That child, very soon valued that applause is repaid with sweat, that others are part of you, and that gratitude is a superior verb. Every year, every minute, and every second, have meant celebration and glory, and you have been accomplices and faithful companions.

The time left to live will not be enough for me to bless you. I love you very much, very much, very much!!!!!"; he concluded.

The musician celebrated his 72nd birthday on November 29th. That day he also wrote a moving message.

"It's very early, the city is still asleep and I am in a one-on-one with my thoughts. Oh Ernesto Duarte!, I do know how it was; From innocence, to "la rigola", from nothing, to almost nothing, from little, to a little more and from a little more to much, because much for me is having health, peace, some money for some tastes of others and mine, and above all, very much love".

"From hustling the streets helping my parents to put humble sustenance on the table, to giving away dreams, illusions and attachments, and in return receiving affection by the handful. Thanks upon thanks. I am blessed, I celebrate another year of being in this world. I learned to give thanks when I had almost nothing, little and much, because I have what matters most, I have life. Among many, I made a song just tailored to my philosophy of existence, "with bow and arrow always fighting, I fall against the canvas, but at the same time I get back up, Sagittarius, let no one hold you back, Sagittarius, Forward and Forward"", he added.

"I bless the fact of having life, of loving and knowing I am loved, it is so much that God has given me, that I do not dwell on what I have not achieved. What more can I ask of life?", he concluded.
