Guido López Gavilán and the Chamber Orchestra "Música Eterna" Achieve Resounding Success in Panama

A resounding success was achieved by Maestro Guido López Gavilán's participation in the Alfredo de Saint Malo International Festival held in Panama between May 30 and June 9.

Invited as Composer in Residence, his music thus received special prominence during the event. Several of his works were performed by the Panama University Symphony Orchestra, as well as by the Festival Symphony Orchestra.

Highly significant, moreover, was the concert by the Música Eterna Chamber Orchestra that garnered great ovations when masterfully performing a program dedicated entirely to works by López Gavilán, in the magnificent San José Church in the Panamanian capital.

The audience stood and with exclamations of ¡Viva Cuba! corroborated the magnificent performance of the Cuban musicians on Panamanian soil.

The event featured the participation of artists from Germany, France, the United States, Argentina, Colombia, Honduras, Panama, and Cuba.
