Cuban singer-songwriters Albita Rodríguez, Lena Burke and Lucrecia will unite their voices for the concert Women Off the Beat to take place on May 7th at the Dade County Auditorium in Miami.
Albita —who is bringing this spectacle— recalled that she conceived the show in 2018 with the production of the music video for the song "I'm a Woman and I'm Here".
The concert will feature different styles and interpretations, but at the same time the three artists, Albita, mezzo-soprano Lena and singer Lucrecia, have different aspects with which they identify.
All three are composers and play different instruments and have participated in internationally acclaimed musical works: Lena Burke starred as La Lupe in the film La Mala. Lucrecia took on the responsibility of interpreting the great Celia Cruz in Celia, the Musical and Albita Rodríguez played the character of "La Señora" in the musical Carmen.
Albita dedicates this spectacle to Mother's Day. With this fusion of voices, positive energy, humor, anecdotes and good music, the special Women Off the Beat will be full of musical magic, the agency concludes.
