Alfredito Rodríguez Thanks Well-Wishers on His 70th Birthday

Cuban singer Alfredito Rodríguez, who celebrated his 70th birthday last Monday, thanked the congratulations he received for his milestone birthday, from both followers and press outlets.

"To thank is a superior verb. In that way, I thank the messages, the notes, the good wishes and the displays of affection that were sent to me and published for my 70th birthday," wrote the beloved performer on Facebook this Tuesday, accompanying his message with a

"God, my family, my friends and my audience that has followed and supported me for so many years, have wanted to sustain me. The adverb of quantity that I reiterated one day continues to have the same validity and increasingly so; MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, that is how much I love them," concluded the artist, bringing to mind the phrase he personalized in the farewells of his television programs.

Alfredito Rodríguez, who published some moving verses on his social networks to celebrate his arrival at seven decades of life, did not hesitate to thank our Monday article directly in the comments section.

The artist performed a three-hour concert last Saturday at the nightclub Polynesio in Miami, where he sang some of his greatest hits such as "Sagitario", "Me salen canas" or "¡Ay, que me encapricho!".

Alfredo Rodríguez -or simply "Alfredito"- as his followers have called him for decades, established his residence in Miami since 2012, where he continued his musical career in addition to hosting "El show de Alfredo Rodríguez" and "En familia con Alfredo" for Radio and TV Martí, Radio Cadena Azul and Cubana de Televisión.
