After opening the space Las noches del Caballero del Son at the Casino, Cuban composer and performer, director of the Orquesta Adalberto Álvarez y su Son, announced on social networks that he will perform on August 17 at 8:30 p.m., at the Karl Marx theater, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the founding of his group and his 45 years of professional career.
For Adalberto, this concert which he has titled as one of his anthological themes, Son para un Sonero, will be a luxury, as it will offer the public a repertoire in which he will perform songs of his own authorship written throughout his career, some with new versions.
He will be accompanied in this celebration by guests who have promoted and performed his work, others who have been inspired by it and artists who have been part of the orchestra in different stages. Among them, the masters Frank Fernández and Pancho Amat, Paulo F.G, Jorge Luis Rojas, José Luis Cortés, Haila María Mompié, Septeto Santiaguero, Alexander Abreu, Tania Pantoja, Alain Pérez, Emilio Frías "El niño", the Rueda de Casino of the L and 19 School as well as his son, the young pianist, Brayan Álvarez and his grandson, Kevin Pérez Álvarez.
Before this concert, the Saturday space La hora del Caballero on the Radio Taíno la FM de Cuba radio station, will pay tribute to Juan Formell, with guests such as Samuel Formell, César Pupy Pedroso, Mayito Rivera and journalist, Pedro de la Hoz.
