The emblematic Gran Rex is already announcing it and its followers in the country are rushing to buy tickets for the show that great Cuban jazz musician Chucho Valdés will offer in September alongside Argentine Patricia Sosa.
According to Prensa Latina, for the first time the two will be together on stage in Buenos Aires after combining their talents on the album Once, concierto para dos (2017), by Sosa, where both perform the piece Allí.
On September 7, the Gran Rex will witness this encounter, which is expected to be magical and special, and tickets are already available on the theater's website and on the Ticketek.com portal.
Valdés, winner of three Grammy Awards, was captivated by Patricia's voice after hearing her by chance and their mutual admiration was reflected in Allí, one of several songs on the artist's most recent album recorded in the studios of the Cuban jazz musician in Málaga.
The CD features boleros from that Caribbean island from the 1930s and 1940s and also features artists Dany Leis, Daniel Casares, Esperanza García de Soria and Miguel Poveda.
