Cuban actress Camila Arteche premieres telenovela on Telemundo

Cuban actress Camila Arteche announced the premiere this Wednesday of the Telemundo telenovela "Juego de Mentiras", a dramatic thriller.

"I hope you enjoy it as much as I did my first work for this network, and in neutral accent. A divine experience getting to know new dynamics and great colleagues", she added.

The artist shared images from the shoot, from a set that recreates a news program, in which she serves as a presenter or journalist.

In this first work with the network, Camila plays a supporting character, a young woman named Verónica, who apparently has a lot of nerve.

"Gossipy? Unscrupulous? Transparent? Verónica will be whatever you decide and interpret when you start watching 'Juego de Mentiras'. For now I can only tell you that she is capable of anything to achieve her objectives and that I'm having a blast being her", she wrote last October.

This role marks the return of the Cuban actress to television and telenovelas, after settling in the United States.

Filmed in Miami, "Juego de Mentiras" is set in Los Angeles and San Clemente, California, and tells "a story full of intrigue, mystery, passion and love that follows the life of César Ferrer", a man who becomes the main suspect in his wife's disappearance and is forced to investigate on his own, through which he discovers that his partner was living a double life.

Two other Cuban actresses, Beatriz Valdés and Aylín Mujica, will also be part of the telenovela's cast.
