# Dr. Pedro Más Bermejo, Ph.D. Reelected as Adjunct Professor at Prestigious University in the United States of America

Founded in 1912, the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is the oldest school of public health in the United States of America. It is part of Tulane University, an independent research institution that is highly respected and selective.

Dr. Pedro Más Bermejo, Ph.D., vice president of the Cuban Society of Hygiene and Epidemiology, was reelected as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Tropical Medicine of the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University, in the United States of America, for the period from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, in recognition of his contributions to the programs of said school.

This is a special appointment and does not lead to tenure. The continuation of this appointment beyond the specified period is based on supporting funds, institutional and program needs, and satisfactory performance.

This is the only combined American school of public health and tropical medicine and the first to offer mid-career distance education programs.
