# Randy Arozarena sets records in every game with the Tampa Bay

The Cuban Randy Arozarena continues his record streak and with it increasingly enters baseball history with a dream postseason that, on the other hand, has the Dodgers on maximum alert.

The outfielder was an important part in the Rays' comeback last Saturday night to defeat Los Angeles 8-7 and tie the World Series at two wins, confirming that this matchup must go to the limit of seven games.

When Arozarena, a native of Pinar del Río, connected in the fourth inning his ninth home run of these playoffs at Globe Life Field in Texas, he established a new postseason record leaving behind relevant figures like Bonds (2002), Carlos Beltrán ('04), Nelson Cruz ('11) and Corey Seager ('20).

The Caribbean player had connected a single in the first inning against the pitches of Mexican Julio Urías, but then came his home run in the fourth and another hit in the sixth to tie the record for most hits in a playoff that was in the hands of Venezuelan Pablo Sandoval and dated from 2014.

Something that beyond his home run became clear when the rookie slid head-first—after a thunderous run from first base and a fall—on the plate to score the run that left the field to the Dodgers, as proof that Tampa Bay is going to fight until the end and, if it dies, it will do so with its boots on.

The Cuban batter has been an inspiration within a club accustomed to defeating giants, as they did with the Yankees and the Astros.
