**Date:** 01/22/2020

The renowned Cuban pianist Marcos Madrigal will participate in the Rapsodia Underground concert season, to be held in the city of Naples, Italy.

Under the title "Classical Suggestions from Latin America", the presentation will take place on January 28 in the Assoli Hall of the Italian city.

The recital will include works by Cuban composers Ernesto Lecuona, José María Vitier, Aldo López Gavilán; Venezuelan Moisés Moleiro; Argentine Alberto Ginasteras; Mexican Manuel Ponce, among others.

"I believe it is a mission of pianists from the continent to make the classical works of Latin America known to the world. That is why it gives me great satisfaction that the repertoire of these composers is heard in this more alternative or less standard season," Madrigal commented.

After this concert, the artist will continue his work schedule in Europe with the premiere of four recordings and the preparation of the Habana Clásica Itinerante season, which will have recitals in Cuba's capital and several cities of the old continent.

Numerous competitions from Panama, Costa Rica, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and Cuba have awarded prizes to Madrigal for interpretive excellence, whose concerts in Great Britain, Argentina, Colombia, Italy, Austria and other countries achieve great success.
