# Pancho Céspedes takes his Spain tour to Madrid and Barcelona after Latin Grammy Excellence Award

**Date:** 10/03/2026

Cuban singer-songwriter Francisco “Pancho” Céspedes performs on October 2, 2026, at Madrid’s Teatro Capitol Gran Vía and on October 3 at Barcelona’s Teatre Apolo — key stops on his September–October Spain tour, according to Diario de Cuba and both theaters’ calendars.

The run follows news that Céspedes will receive the 2026 Latin Grammy Musical Excellence Award, to be presented November 9 in Las Vegas. Before Madrid, he sold out two nights at Sala Garbos in Gran Canaria (September 26–27) and shared a Málaga bill on September 18 with Enrique Ramil and José Luis Jaén in the show 3 de Corazones.

“My international career started here, with Vida loca,” Céspedes told Diario de Cuba about his bond with Spanish audiences. Born in Santa Clara in 1957 and based in Mexico since 1992, the bolero and ballad writer said he wants to “bring out the artist I have inside” in these roughly 100-minute intimate concerts.
