# They Will Award the Title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Jorge González Pérez

In recognition of his outstanding trajectory in the training of multiple generations of health professionals and his dedication and commitment to the development, improvement and consolidation of Higher Medical Education and the Cuban Health System, among many other merits accumulated over more than 45 years of tireless professional work, this Saturday, June 17 at 11 in the morning, the ceremony for the awarding of the Honorary Title of Doctor Honoris Causa in Medical Sciences will take place in the Aula Magna of the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, located in the facilities of the Faculty of Medical Sciences "Victoria de Girón", to Professor Emeritus and Hero of Labor of the Republic of Cuba, Dr. C. Jorge González Pérez, General Director of Teaching of the Ministry of Public Health.

In this same ceremony, which is expected to have the presence of authorities from the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Higher Education and other organizations and institutions from the province and the nation, the distinguished University Professor will receive the Medal of International Worker.
