Last Sunday night, when thousands of Cubans settled in front of their TV screens at home to enjoy one of the best dramatizations produced by Cuban Television, LCB, the other war, the best tribute will be paid to Miguel Leonardo Sosa Perich, a creator who dedicated his life to working behind the cameras and who was one of the directors of the aforementioned series.

Miguelito Sosa, as he was known by the people, passed away in the early morning hours of this Sunday due to a heart attack, according to information provided by the Cuban Television portal.

For around 20 years he remained at the forefront of audiovisual production in the Greater Antilles. Although he championed, above all, the Adventure genre, his portfolio includes numerous programs such as: TV series, telenovelas, stories, telefilms, and police dramas alongside which numerous generations grew up and which were enjoyed by audiences of all ages.

La Atenea is in San Miguel, Los tres Villalobos, Tierras de fuego, are some of the dramatizations that Miguel Sosa directed, while El elegido del tiempo, Unidad Operativa Nacional (UNO), Memorias de un abuelo, Descamisados, LCB, la otra guerra, are part of the list of productions that he co-directed. These and other television productions, during their broadcast, became audience favorites and demonstrated that creator's ability to guide both experienced and novice artists.

The renowned actor Hamlet Paredes, who had the opportunity to work under his direction, expressed his gratitude to that filmmaker for his work on his personal Facebook account and stated: "(…) fighter and unreachable dreamer Miguelito Sosa, you are no longer here, but you left your smile in the TV hallway, your mark on the works (…) that smile never failed you, that support, that confidence, that phrase of 'let's do it, we can'".
