**Date:** 01/30/2023

Lázaro Álvarez won for the fourth consecutive time and Domadores de Cuba gave itself a happy debut in the current professional boxing season.

In the Mexican city of San Pedro Garza, the triple Olympic bronze medalist and world champion celebrated by technical knockout after four rounds against the well-seasoned local fighter Sergio "Dandy" Puente, in a lightweight division fight scheduled for eight rounds.

The ESPN KnockOut review highlighted the dominance of the Antillean fighter, who in the second and fourth rounds sent to the canvas a man who did not come out for the next round and left the ring with his sixteenth loss in 44 fights.

This Friday's victory made Lázaro the top winner of his franchise, which now has 16 wins and one loss and will have its next challenge on February 10.

That day Erislandy Álvarez will live his debut at this level as opponent of local José Segura (5-10), in a clash of six rounds to be held in Jalisco, Mexico.
