# Irela Bravo returns to Havana after nearly three years living in Miami

Cuban actress and television host Irela Bravo returned to Havana in late September 2026 after nearly three years living in Miami, according to images shared by Alexander Otaola and coverage by Periódico Cubano, Asere and CubitaNOW. The video shows her with several suitcases leaving José Martí International Airport; those reports say she was then taken to Santo Suárez, the neighborhood where she lived for decades.

Bravo, widely known as Cachita on Vivir del Cuento and for more than two decades as host of Entre tú y yo, settled in Florida at the end of 2023. In later interviews she described the move as a matter of work and family survival. In Miami she appeared in the comedy La Habana en Hialeah and in the stage play Enemigas íntimas with Susana Pérez, Beatriz Valdés and Verónica López.

So far the actress has not publicly explained the reason for the trip, how long she will stay in Cuba or whether it is a family visit or a permanent return. CubitaNOW also reported an emotional reunion with her mother. A temporary visit alone does not mean she has left her life in South Florida.
