# Madonna's Cuban daughter debuts as a model

Madonna's Cuban-origin daughter, Lourdes María León, was the image of the "Parade" collection by Juicy Couture, inspired by the 2000s, as an underwear model.

In photos published on the brand's Instagram account, you can see the 24-year-old young woman modeling the new pieces from the Y2K haute couture collection, inspired by mid-2000s fashion.

Lourdes appears wearing a velvet sweatshirt and black underwear with the word "Juicy" in gold. The underwear set is priced at 42 dollars. The collection contains two pairs of underwear and an exclusive scarf, inspired by vintage Juicy bracelets, and designed by New York artist Jeanette Hayes.

"Together, we designed a collection to celebrate the timelessness of brilliant and daring self-expression. A match made in heaven with thousands of sparkling crystals, glamorous jewel tones and a touch of velvet, Parade & Juicy Couture lived happily ever after," the brand stated in a press release.

The daughter of singer Madonna and Cuban trainer and dancer Carlos León has ventured into fashion on other occasions. For example, she had previously modeled for Stella McCartney's brand (daughter of Paul McCartney) for a perfume campaign in 2016.

In 2018 she participated and walked the runway for the Gypsy Sport brand and the Converse company hired her to be the image of their campaign with body hair included, for being a convinced feminist about breaking social parameters of what feminine beauty is.

As if that weren't enough, in April 2019, Lourdes chose to follow in her mother's footsteps and model for Jean Paul Gaultier. Thus she became the image of the urban brand "Supreme". "Supreme" announced the collaboration with Lourdes on its Instagram account in early April and in one of the published images, Madonna's daughter wears pants with the word "Fuck racism".

Lourdes was born from Madonna's relationship with Cuban trainer Carlos León, and bears a striking physical resemblance to her mother at that age – like her spectacular eyebrows – although she undoubtedly got the Latin side from her parent.

Lourdes is also a student of performing arts at the University of Michigan – the same one her mother attended – and she sings, dances, has designed fashion lines and written a book at her young age.
