# Radio, Film and Television Actor Noel García Dies in Havana

Radio, film and television actor Noel García died this Thursday in Havana, according to information posted on Facebook by Cuba's National Council of Performing Arts.&nbsp;&nbsp;


He began his career as a film actor in 1965, in the film Assault on the Central Train, followed by other films such as:&nbsp;You Have the Floor,&nbsp;Patty Candela,&nbsp;No Saturday Without Sun,&nbsp;Waltz of Old Havana&nbsp;and&nbsp;Waiting List. We especially remember Noel García for his performances in Cuban television dramatizations, such as the soap opera The Orange Tree in the Courtyard.


Cuba's National Council of Performing Arts expressed its condolences, which are surely joined by those of the Cuban people.
