**Date:** 12/10/2021

Cuban singer-songwriter Luis Franco closed his tour of Dominican Republic, called From Havana to Santo Domingo, with an acclaimed concert held at the central Chao Café Teatro in this capital city.

It was a show in which Franco delighted those who enjoy good music and refined compositions with his songs, something that characterizes this young musician.

Guitar in hand he performed songs of his own authorship such as Canciones que no me faltes and Baile de los Labios, both included in his two albums released so far.

But as it could not be missing, he got the people in the room moving their feet with Cuban and Latin American classics; he recalled songs by Silvio Rodríguez and Pablo Milanés and paid tribute to the late bachata singer and great friend of his country Víctor Víctor, singing his well-known Mesita de Noche.

In a conversation with Prensa Latina, the singer expressed satisfaction with his performances in this nation and said he has scheduled to return in February to continue his approach to the other half of the island, which he considers very close to Cubans.

During this journey Franco also performed, among others, at the cultural center Casa de Teatro, was interviewed by different media outlets and praised by critics and participated in the well-known television program Esta Noche Mariasela.

The tall artist now returns to his homeland where he hopes to respond to requests from his followers with a concert in Havana, to then continue with performances in provinces and festivals on the largest of the Antilles.

In his short career the Havana native already has three nominations to Cuba's Cubadisco Festival, one for his first CD called Que no me faltes and two for his second, Luis Franco Live.

Likewise, he performed with artists of the caliber of Israel Rojas, Jesse Suárez, Telmary and the renowned Alexander Abreu, director of Havana D´ Primera.
