# Cuban singer Carlos Ángel Valdés is in the final of "La Voz"

Carlos Ángel Valdés is in the final of the competition "La Voz de España". The Cuban has captivated audiences with a powerful performance of the beautiful song 'Rise up' by Andra Day in the Semifinal of 'La Voz'. His voice and personality have managed to enchant all the audience.

Carlos Ángel Valdés is one of four talents who will compete next Saturday to be crowned the best voice in Spain. The Cuban was the audience's favorite, who chose him as the first finalist of the competition broadcast by the channel Antena 3.

His masterful performance of "Rise up" by Andra Day gave goosebumps to all four coaches and everyone present at the semifinal. Luis Fonsi couldn't stop smiling proudly during his presentation; "the way you sang, my brother," he told him while hugging him.

"Today you sang for your grandmother, your mother, for your beautiful Cuba, Spain and the entire world. Show after show you have surpassed yourself. I love your freedom to do what you want with your voice. It has been a blessing to work with you," said the Puerto Rican. "There are few voices like Carlos'," he added.

Carlos Ángel Valdés also took the stage to perform "Nada es para siempre" alongside Diana Larios, the other member of team Fonsi, and his coach. Malú, Pablo Alborán and Alejandro Sanz couldn't help but stand up and join in the audience's applause.

The Cuban and Larios also sang "El ruido" with David Bisbal. "Sublime, spectacular, wonderful, distinguished, elegant and this song with David, Diana and Carlos Ángel makes me cry and gets me emotional to the max," reads a comment from the show on YouTube.

When voting closed that night, the following were selected to advance to the final of La Voz España 2021: Carlos Ángel Valdés (team Fonsi), Julio Benavente, Karina Pasian (both from team Sanz) and Inés Manzano (from Alborán).

Next Saturday, December 18th will be the grand final and a Cuban could be the winner. Carlos Ángel Valdés, in addition to having a great voice, has a lot of charisma and empathy toward his fellow competitors, which has earned him the affection of the audience. In seven days everything will be decided!
