**Date:** 08/12/2021

After giving successful concerts in Europe, the Cuban musician will perform in the United States in August and September.

With a show where "all Cuban roots, rumba, all of it mixed with the funk of the 70s and 80s" of the past century is present, Cimafunk performed on stages in Galicia this weekend to close his tour of European venues.

According to what the Cuban musician told the newspaper La Voz de Galicia, his new repertoire features songs from the recent EP he released, Cun Cun Prá, "besides, there are other songs that came out in the live concerts. The show as such has more electricity".

That was Cimafunk's proposal last Thursday, August 5 at the Go!Go!Zo! festival, in Santiago de Compostela, in Vigo (on Friday) and in A. Coruña (on Saturday), to culminate his concert program in the Old Continent in Galicia.

Cimafunk's next destination is the United States, where he will perform several presentations from August 26 through Saturday, September 4, according to a post by the artist on Instagram.

The venues and dates published for August are New York (26), Westhampton (27), Green River Fest (28) and Hartford (29). The schedule planned for September includes concerts in Philadelphia (Wednesday 1st), New York (Thursday 2), Washington (Friday 3) and Pittsburgh (Saturday 4).

"Get ready, we're heading in that direction. Afro-Cuban funk for your body", the artist assures on that social network.

Precisely in an emblematic American cultural space, Madison Square Garden, the Cuban experienced in 2019 "special moments". In this regard, he told La Voz de Galicia: "Working with Alejandro Sanz in three concerts gave me and the entire team confidence to know that we were on the right path, on the healthy path. It was a big boost, also on a spiritual and personal level".
