Marcello André Hernández González (Miami, August 19, 1997) is an American comedian and actor of Cuban and Dominican descent. His mother, Isabel Cancela, is of Cuban origin; his father, Joaquin Hernández, is Dominican. He grew up in Miami, raised in a Caribbean immigrant household that instilled in him a deep connection to his roots and Latino culture.

He studied Entrepreneurship and Communication at John Carroll University, graduating in 2019. After developing his stand-up comedy career, in 2022 he became a cast member of Saturday Night Live (SNL) on NBC, becoming the first Gen Z comedian to join the landmark show. In 2024 he was promoted to repertory player status at the start of SNL's 50th anniversary season. In January 2026 he released his debut stand-up special, "American Boy", on Netflix.

On SNL, he is known for recurring characters and sketches that explore his Cuban-Dominican bicultural identity and the Latino immigrant experience in the United States. His bilingual humor has produced some of the show's most viral moments in recent years. In May 2026 he made his debut at the Met Gala, wearing a custom Thom Browne suit adorned with spiritual symbols — including an azabache, a larimar stone, and a guardian angel charm — honoring both his Cuban and Dominican heritage.
