Cuban weightlifter Enmanuel De la Rosa is one of the most outstanding representatives of Cuban weightlifting in the 79-kilogram category. A native of Santiago de Cuba, he is known for his power, refined technique, and the consistency that has defined his career since his earliest steps in the sport.

In 2025, he became an overwhelming Pan American youth champion. At the Junior Pan American Weightlifting Championship held in Havana (March 2025), he swept all three gold medals — snatch, clean & jerk, and total — in the 79 kg category, lifting 140 kg in the snatch and 310 kg total, far surpassing his continental rivals.

Months later, at the Junior Pan American Games in Asunción 2025 (August), he repeated his dominant performance and delivered Cuba's tenth gold medal at those Games, cementing himself as the most dominant junior lifter on the American continent in his weight class.

Trained at the ESFAAR Cerro Pelado facility in Havana and known for his exceptional discipline, he is considered one of Cuba's greatest weightlifting prospects heading into the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo and future Olympic cycles.
