Sculptor and painter. Devoted to the perfection of the work and exquisite finishing. A knowledgeable person of materials and the way to assemble them to increase their expressive capacity, his work, "Trunk of Penumbra and Permanence", is the most rooted in the idea of survival, solid chest of sound expectations and chromatic frugality."

He was born in The City of Havana. He began in 1973 his studies of sculpture at the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1977. Subsequently that same year he began his studies in the specialty of sculpture at the Superior Institute of Art (ISA) of Cuba.

He has shown his personal work in Cuba and abroad. In addition to being a sculptor, Eliseo is also a draftsman and painter. He possesses large-format sculptural works that have been placed in Cuban cities, as well as in Japan, Spain and Venezuela.

He is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and currently presides over the sculpture section of the Association of Plastic Artists of UNEAC, member and specialist of the National CODEMA (Advisory Council for the Development of Monumental and Environmental Sculpture); from 1995 to 1998 he was a member of the Ruckelshausen S.A. Plastic Arts Workshop of the BILDERT WELT gallery, Hamburg, Germany and in the years 1985 to 1988 he worked as a specialist at the Cultural Assets Fund.

He has taught classes at different levels of artistic education in the country such as the National School of Art, the Elementary Level School 23 and C, among others.

His works are found in private collections in different countries: United States of North America, Austria, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Jamaica and Turkey.
