# Andy Pagés sparks an early lead, but Dodgers fall in Brewers’ NLCS sweep

**Date:** 10/16/2026

Cuban center fielder Andy Pagés drove in the Dodgers’ first run of National League Championship Series Game 4, yet Milwaukee came back to win 6-4 on Thursday, October 15, 2026, completing a four-game sweep, CBS Los Angeles and MLB.com reported. The Brewers advanced to their first World Series since 1982 and ended Los Angeles’s bid for a third straight title.

In the bottom of the second, Pagés singled home Kyle Tucker to put the Dodgers ahead; Shohei Ohtani soon followed with a three-run homer. Milwaukee tied the game in the fifth and took the lead in the sixth on Garrett Mitchell’s solo shot. Manager Dave Roberts said his club was outplayed “in all facets.”

Pagés, born in Havana on December 8, 2000, had also driven in Los Angeles’s only run in Game 1 and added hits across the series after starring in the Division Series against Atlanta. Milwaukee now awaits the American League champion between Cleveland and Tampa Bay, where Cubans Yandy Díaz and Víctor Mesa Jr. remain active with the Rays.
