Popular Cuban actors Ulyk Anello and Yia Caamaño will premiere a theatrical work together on October 26th in the city of Miami, where both have resided for a few months after permanently emigrating to the United States.

According to an announcement made by Yia herself on her social media, it will be a rewriting of the original text of the work 'Lear', written by William Shakespeare; which they have recontextualized in the present.

"Beyond leaving, beyond abandoning family, beyond distance, the text begins after emigrating, after forgetting, it is not another story of exile, it is the story of the exile after his story ends, in other words, what happens after? LEAR is a story told by many undone stories, after the 'after' LEAR is the story of solitude", summarized the actress in an Instagram post, where she also added several photographs with the rest of the cast.

The work will take to the stage at Teatro Sandrell Rivers on October 26th, 27th, and 28th, under the direction of the Miami Factory Theater group.

The talented actress born in Guantánamo in the late 1980s, whose real name is Dyusnaika, left her native land in 2022 before the premiere of her most recent work on the Island.
